During my summer vacation, the longing for home was overwhelming, especially as the academic term neared its conclusion. I had a myriad of plans in mind, such as assisting my mother with household chores and diving into the recommended books. However, upon returning home, my mother's protective nature took over, preventing me from indulging in any of these activities.
She constantly interrupted my reading, bombarding me with questions about college life. In an attempt to please her, I shared details, unintentionally losing track of my reading goals. Even when I managed to find some quiet time, she would insist on snacks or tea breaks, inevitably derailing my plans. Despite the unfulfilled list, I left the vacation feeling content and grateful. The experience solidified my belief in the cherished phrase, "Home, sweet home," as there's no substitute for the warmth and comfort of one's own home.
In a separate incident, during a morning spent fishing at my aunt's village, I unexpectedly found myself in the midst of a rescue mission. A boy fell into the river, and without hesitation, I abandoned my fishing pole and rushed to save him. Together with his mother, we rushed him to a nearby hospital, securing his safety. As for my fishing expedition, the outcome was both surprising and rewarding - despite losing the pole, I had caught a large fish on the hook.
